  2. SYMPTOMS. First signs are a fever of 103 to 104 degrees F. In a few days
  3. (3 or 4) the fever falls and a rash of reddish-pink color will appear on the
  4. abdomen and chest. The extremities and face may be affected to some extent.
  5. The rash will disappear in 1 or 2 days. In the meantime the child feel well.
  6. CAUSES. It is believed to be caused by a virus. It is an acute disease that
  7. affects infants and young children.
  8. TREATMENT. No specific treatment. High fever reduced with sponge baths.
  9. .No other treatment is usually required after the temperature becomes normal
